- Must have a strong desire to positively influence a G.W. Carver student’s life
- Motivating
- Committed
- Dependable
- 2 face-to-face meetings with mentee per month (lunch, classroom visit, school settings, after school athletic event, etc.)
- 1 written correspondence with mentee per month
- 1 phone call to family per month
