Hi from your School Speech-Language Pathologist

I competed my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at East Carolina University.  Proud to be a Purple & Gold Pirate.  I have been working as a Speech Therapist for 25 years in Eastern North Carolina.  I have worked in a large variety of settings to include:  Developmental Clinic, Private Clinic, Home Health, Rehab Center, Hospital, Nursing Home, Day Care, Pre-School, Elementary, Middle and High School.  I am from Virginia originally but moved to North Carolina for college.  I am married and I am the proud mom to 4 sons.  My eldest is currently attending ECU.  One of my middle sons is a United States Marine.  His twin brother is living in New Jersey.  My baby is now a Junior in High School.  

 

This is my 7th year serving students as the Speech Therapist here at G.W. Carver.  This year I am working with 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.  Shelly Berghold is the other Speech Therapist working at Carver serving PreK, Kindergarten and First Graders.
