Good evening, Eagle families. This is Ms. Palmer with your announcements for the week of May 5th through May 9th. This week, during Teacher Appreciation Week, we will celebrate our staff, especially our teachers. G.W. Carver is fortunate to have such a fantastic staff, and we can't wait to celebrate them beginning on Monday. Our third, fourth, and fifth graders have 12 instructional days until we begin our EOGs on May 21st. Please visit our Facebook page for updated testing dates and ways to support them at home. We still need proctors. Please complete our Google form to proctor or contact Mrs. Thorne for more details. If you have a college-aged student at home, they can proctor, as long as they are not a current ECPS student. We will host our Spring Fling dance for our PreK, kindergarten, first, and second graders on Thursday, May 8th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased until tomorrow, May 5th. We can't wait to dance the night away with our youngest Eagles. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning. Soar high, Eagles!
