Our Junior Beta Club is hosting a Pet Food Drive through December 18th, please see the attached flyer for more details.
There will be no chorus practice tomorrow, Monday, 12/16. Chorus practices will resume in January.
Please join us for our Winter Spirit Week.
Monday will be Mixed Up Monday- wear your tackiest sweater or mixed-up outfit.
Tuesday will be Merry Grinchmas- wear green to match the Grinch.
Wednesday will be Winter Wonderland- wear white and blue to celebrate winter weather.
Thursday will be Party in your PJs- wear comfy pjs
Friday will be Flannel Friday- wear plaid or flannel.
This is just a reminder that Friday, December 20th, will be an early dismissal. G.W. Carver will begin dismissing at 12:15 p.m.

Bus 412 is now on the road with the modified route of Bus 407! Thank you for your patience.
We will notify you when the adjusted routes for 412 and 389 on are the road! Thank you for your understanding and your patience.
If you live on Bynum Farm Road, your child will ride 412 and should be home around the normal time. If you live on 258 or in the Colonial Road area, Bus 412 will start that route at 4:30. If your child lives in the Fox Hollow area or 111-122, your child will be on 389 and that route will start at 4:30.
Families of Bus 407, due to bus driver shortages, we are splitting the bus between 412 and 389. Please read the following messages carefully and reach out to the office if you would like your child to be a car rider or if you have any questions.
Families of Bus 412, due to bus driver shortages, we have had to split the route! If you live in the Pinetops city limits, they will be on Bus 389. If you do not live in the city limits on this route, they will ride Bus 407 and be home after 4:45. Please contact the office if you want to pick up your child.

The 4th and 5th-grade Chorus will have an extended practice until 4:30 pm tomorrow.
Our ECPS Board of Education will host the Gold Key Awards on Monday, December 9th, at 6:00 p.m. We are excited to recognize our Gold Key students: Zoey Bryant, Elizabeth Rose Harrell, Jesse Moreno, and Aubry Louise Ensing.
Please join us on Thursday, December 12th, at 6:00 p.m. for our Winter Arts Showcase. Our first—and fifth-grade students and the chorus will showcase their work.

Good evening, Eagle families. This is your principal, Ms. Palmer, with your weekly updates for December 2nd through December 6th.
Our PTO fundraiser featuring Tidal Wave Car Wash certificates ends Monday, December 2nd. Please turn in all money, checks, or money orders by Tuesday, December 3rd. PTO has a quick turnaround and wants to ensure we have the car wash certificates before our Winter break.
Our third graders will take the CogAt on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, and our fifth graders will take their NC Check-In for science on Thursday.
Review the attached morning drop-off procedures. As always, the safety of our students is our top priority. Please do not let students out of cars until a staff member is present to assist with unloading vehicles. While pulling around other cars, please drive slowly in case any students exit from the driver's side. If you have any questions about morning drop-off, please get in touch with Ms. Palmer.

Our PTO will host a Tidal Wave fundraiser from November 19th through December 2nd. The car wash vouchers, which can be used at any Tidal Wave location and cost $10 for a $30 car wash, will make the perfect stocking stuffer for those hard-to-shop-for adults.
Second—and third-grade students are invited to audition for our talent show on November 19-22 from 7:30-8:00 a.m. If interested, students should return a signed permission slip to Mrs. Clayton.
We hope to see our pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade on Thursday, November 21st, from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. for Muffins in the Morning.

There will be no school on Monday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. We want to take this opportunity to recognize and thank all veterans and active military members in our school community for their service. We honor and deeply appreciate the sacrifices made by you and your families.
We will celebrate Career Development Month this week by participating in a spirit week. Tuesday will be College Day, Wednesday will be dress as your dream job, Thursday will be crazy socks, and Friday will be bright or neon colors.
We will continue with our PBIS Lollipop fundraiser. All funds raised will help support various PBIS student incentives throughout the year.
On Thursday, our third graders will be participating in a field trip to Imagination Station, and K-1 students will go to see Frosty at ECC on Friday.
