Good evening, Eagle families. This is your principal, Ms. Palmer, with weekly announcements for February 17th through February 21st.
G.W. Carver will hold their lockdown drill this week. Teachers will discuss the importance of the drill in an age-appropriate manner, and we will take every measure to ensure students feel safe and secure throughout the process. Please reassure your child that this is simply a practice, just like a fire drill, to help us all be prepared. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the school office. Thank you for your support in keeping our school community safe.
We will continue celebrating our dedicated G.W. Carver bus drivers for Love the Bus Month. Carver is lucky to have the best bus drivers! Thank you to Ms. Baker, Ms. Battle, Ms. Hewlin, Ms. Horne, Mr. Parker, and Ms. Worthington for making sure our Eagles get to and from school safely every day and any other ECPS bus drivers who help serve our students.
We hope everyone has had a relaxing weekend, and we look forward to seeing all our Eagles on Monday morning. Soar High, Eagles!
