Under the guidance of ECC instructor Kevin Strickland, construction students at SouthWest Edgecombe High School are adding the final touches on their “dogdominium.” They're gearing up to showcase their incredible work at next week's North Carolina SkillsUSA competition in Greensboro, NC! This student competition celebrates leadership and practical skills in trades.
This week, 6th grade students visited Medoc Mountain State Park where they were able to go on a hike, explore their surroundings, and engage in outdoor activities as they summarized their reading of the novel "Hatchet".
